Yellow Quill First Nation is among very few Saskatchewan First Nations that have the opportunity to acquire significant lands (i.e. quantum) within the province for conversion to reserve status and in accordance to the Saskatchewan TLE Framework Agreement.  At present, Yellow Quill First Nation reserves includes urban properties such as that in Saskatoon which can be found here as well as agriculture lands that at present encompass as much as 30,000 acres.

There are numerous advantages to having a large quantum of 100,000 acres  - the single most important factor is that before lands are purchased for possibilities of subsurface minerals they can first be explored for confirmation through a cleverly executed plan of due diligence.
